I’m pleased to announce the launch of the Pomodoro® Self-Paced Online Program, a new way to learn and practice the complete Pomodoro® Technique.
The program will be available from January 2027, with two learning options: an independent Self-Paced Program and a small Online Cohort with live sessions led by me.
Why I created this program
Many people know the Pomodoro® Technique as a simple timer-based method: work for 25 minutes, take a break, and repeat.
But the timer is only the starting point.
The complete Technique includes learning how to manage interruptions, estimate effort, organize daily and weekly activities, observe your work, and improve your process over time.
These skills take practice. Understanding a concept is one thing; applying it consistently to your own work is another.
I wanted to create a learning experience that would allow people to explore the complete Technique progressively, experiment with its processes, and have enough time to observe the results.
I also wanted to make that learning accessible to people who cannot attend a course at fixed times, while preserving the opportunity for direct discussion and guidance.
That’s how the new Self-Paced Online Program was designed.
How the program works
The program follows a suggested eight-week learning path covering the complete Pomodoro® Technique, from the fundamentals to more advanced individual and team practices.
It combines:
- Prerecorded video lessons explaining the principles, tools and processes of the Technique.
- Practical exercises to apply what you learn to your own activities.
- Downloadable worksheets to support planning, recording and reflection.
- Knowledge checks and quizzes to consolidate what you’ve learned before moving forward.
The curriculum covers the foundations of the Technique, the core Pomodoro process, interruptions, estimation, daily and weekly planning, working with teams, and continuous improvement.
Rather than simply watching lessons, you’ll be encouraged to apply the method to your own work and observe what happens.
Your progress determines when you move forward.
The next major module becomes available when you complete the required learning activities and pass the knowledge check. You can repeat quizzes when necessary.
There is no weekly release schedule and no mandatory waiting period between modules.
The eight-week path is a guide, not a deadline. You can move faster or slower, depending on your needs and experience.
Both learning options provide 12 months of course access, and successful completion of the required activities leads to a Certificate of Completion.
Two ways to participate
I’ve organized the program into two options so that you can choose the kind of learning experience that suits you.
1. Self-Paced Online Program
This option is for people who prefer to learn independently.
You have access to the complete curriculum, video lessons, exercises, worksheets and quizzes.
You decide when to study and practice. There are no scheduled classes or fixed weekly deadlines.
Price: $97
Enrollment opens: January 1, 2027
Access: 12 months
2. Self-Paced Online Cohort
This option includes the complete Self-Paced Program, plus eight live 90-minute online group sessions with me.
The idea is to combine independent learning with opportunities to discuss what happens when you apply the Technique.
During our meetings, we’ll explore questions, difficulties, observations and practical experiences.
The Cohort runs from January to March 2027. The first meeting is on January 13, and the final follow-up is on March 24.
Sessions take place on Wednesdays, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM New York time. Recordings are included.
To make the discussions meaningful, I’ve limited the Cohort to 12 participants.
Price: $349
Registration: Open now
Course access begins: January 2027, for 12 months
Learning the Technique means experimenting
One of the principles behind this program is that improving how we work requires observation and experimentation.
The Pomodoro® Technique is not about following a rigid set of rules or forcing yourself to complete more tasks.
It’s about developing a better understanding of time, learning to recognize the factors that influence your work, and making deliberate improvements.
I hope this new format will give you the opportunity to study the complete method, practice it in your own context, and develop an approach that you can continue to improve.
Registration is open
Registration for the January 2027 Online Cohort is now open.
To celebrate the launch, we’re offering 10% off Cohort registration with code COHORT10, valid until November 15, 2026.
If you prefer to learn independently, enrollment for the Self-Paced Online Program will open on January 1, 2027.
